Happy New Year!

Hi everyone,
Hope you all had a great Christmas and now the New Year is in full swing ready to stitch new quilts or get a few finished.

The start of 2015 has been fantastic so far. Summer School was the best ever.
The Jester quilt is on the cover of Quilters Companion and there is a stunning photo of Birds and Blooms in Quilt Mania.

I am looking forward to starting a new class in Camden at The Stitchers Cupboard and meeting a new group of ladies.
And of course catching up with everyone in my regular classes.

Back to Summer School here are some photos for you.
As you can see I have finished the BOM
I will be sending mail outs first week in February.
Also Rhonda has finished Ann Randoll if you didn't come to SS and still need some of the pattern let me know.
Denise made a king size Birds and Blooms
Gorgeous!!

Everyone hard at work.

My retrospective went well all my early quilts dating from 1997 to early 2000's
Here are just a few.

Rhonda has nearly finished her latest half inch hexie.
So beautiful!

We decided to learn cross stitch, thanks to Karen of The Stitching Post we all succeeded.
A group is now meeting once a month to continue and make a Sampler.
We are called A Flock of Sparrows.
Of course I need my high tech goggles to see the holes in my linen... Not a great look.
We will be incorporating cross stitch next year as we all loved it.
Well that is my first blog for 2015 I will try to post at the beginning of each month this year and of course Instagram
in between.
A big thank you to all the girls who came along to SS you all make it such a wonderful five days!
Looking forward to catching up with everyone in February.
