Classes 2012

Classes have started full of show and tell and news from the Christmas break.
Thank you for all the lovely emails and cards regarding our Summer School I am so pleased you all had such a good time. Next years dates 16-20th of January.
A big thank you to all the girls who signed up for correspondence school you have kept me busy! I hope you are all working on part one.
Gosh 2012 I am really counting down the weeks until my grandson is born apparently he is 6 pounds with 5 weeks to go, so cute.
Also I have my new luggage for my trip to the U.S is anyone else going to Paducah? only 10 weeks to go.
I have enrolled in a couple of classes looking forward to being a student and not the teacher.
My sewing for 2013 has nearly started just a couple of drawings to do then I will choose the fabric, yes hints will be given.
Speaking of fabric I sold 27 scrap bags at Summer School  approximately 22 kilos of fabric and yet my shelves look like nothing happened, I don't think that needs any more thought except I wish it was that easy for me to loose kilos.
Let us visit class show and tell.
Quiltsmith was the first shop this year.

Close up

Lynne the first to complete The Folk Art Quilt.
Hand quilted!

These photos are for you Joy!
What to do when the diamonds don't fit, pictures from my quilt.

I like fussy cutting but also like random.

Look at this beauty Viv's centre for Plain and Fancy.
I have this fabrics but I didn't know it did that.

Jan did a much smaller version of Irish Circles.

I love Lyndi's version of the Folk Art Quilt.

Suzette worked hard on her Cream Tea over the break.

Robyn finished her Wedding Quilt.

Liz with her Anna Quilt.

Always nice to see an English Autumn.

Lynne a correspondence girl getting on with her Folk Art Quilt.

Last photo Vicky has finished her Sampler so beautiful.

A special mention to all the girls who did their preparation homework went shopping and bought new fabric, folders and  new project baskets all ready for the new quilts, so good to be organised.
Today is a sunny day first one in a long while so I think as it is early afternoon I will have a cup of coffee in the garden.
Take care everyone
